Can your overhead doors withstand really high wind loads?
The Megadoor can withstand virtually any wind load. To do this, the horizontal aluminum beams between the two layers of fabric transfer the wind forces to the guide rails mounted on the structural steel jambs.
How airtight are your doors?
Megadoor overhead doors are extremely airtight making them very energy efficient. A definite bonus is that there is no need for weatherseals because of the design; the natural seal increases as the wind load increases. So if interior comfort is important to your operation then the Megadoor is a winning advantage.
What guarantees do you offer?
With each Megadoor, you get a lifetime warranty on all lifting belts. The door fabric has a 5 year guarantee with a 15-20 year life.
How big can you make an overhead door?
There is virtually no limitation to the size of these overhead doors. The System 800 overhead doors are suitable for openings between 14’ x 14’ and 26’ x 26’. And the System 1000 doors are suitable for openings 26’ x 26’ and 50’ x 50’. And the System 1500 doors can be built to any size – North America’s widest door is 400’ and the tallest overhead door is 265’ – impressive!
How much maintenance do your doors need?
Megadoor overhead doors are constructed with heavy duty, corrosion resistant components. And with no springs or counter weights and few moving parts, the Megadoor requires little to no maintenance.
